PAPYRUS Messenger, a distinctive token-based decentralized communication platform that connects individuals within the WEMIX ecosystem through tokens and NFTs, is going to transform into a 2.0 version.
PAPYRUS 2.0 represents an update that places emphasis on improving user experience through stability and speed enhancements as a blockchain-based messenger. It serves as the foundation for various feature expansions that PAPYRUS will introduce in the future.

※ With the launch of the new version of PAPYRUS Messenger, the existing version will be discontinued. Please install the new version from the app store after the update schedule.
※ App store distribution may take approximately 1 to 2 hours, and conversations or activities conducted in the previous version will not carry over to the new version within the distribution time frame.

1) PAPYRUS official channels
• Access will be restricted for users who hold assets.
> PAPYRUS official channels are intended to guide users who do not possess any assets in becoming familiar with and settling into the PAPYRUS service.
> Users who hold assets can enter the official channels of each token to communicate with other users who hold the same assets.
2) 1:1 conversations
• Existing 1:1 conversation records in the previous PAPYRUS Messenger app will not be restored in the new version.
> 1:1 conversations between individuals will not be restored for privacy policy reasons and are not separately saved.
3) Installation and update
• For existing users, it is recommended to uninstall and then reinstall the app. Please check the app store for updates.
• For new users, simply install the updated app.
4) Login for existing users
• Integration with some SNS accounts may be terminated. If prompted to register anew when logging in with your SNS account, please log in with your wallet and then proceed to re-link your SNS account.
PAPYRUS plans to serve as the representative Web3 messenger for the WEMIX platform, offering a wide range of convenient features. Furthermore, the preparation of connectivity features with una Wallet and Wepublic Wallet is underway, enhancing media sharing and supplementary functions for active communication among users within the WEMIX platform.
