Introducing WEMIX Monitoring System Official WEMIX site announcement: WEMIX operates a 24/7 monitoring system to detect and proactively respond to threats on our network and platform. We are committed to establishing a secure ecosystem where WEMIX Foundation takes responsibility for post-incident handling in order to build a safe environment. In relation to the incident on April 8th, 2023, where a large amount of WEMIX was withdrawn from a specific exchange, • The WEMIX team took measures to disallow bridge access and remove liquidity from other chains to minimize market disruption. • On December 1st, the WEMIX team detected transfers originating from the address where the withdrawn WEMIX was held. • The WEMIX team has since been responding via real-time monitoring. Current measures taken by the WEMIX team are as follows: • Continuous real-time tracking of any abnormal transactions detected through our monitoring system. • Assistance from Chainalysis, our key partner of the unagi initiative, by utilizing its CIR(Crypto Incident Response) Program, disseminates wallet information globally to governments, institutions, exchanges, and major blockchains, platforms & dApps to block transactions and track the flow of assets. • ER(Exchange Relations) team communicates in real-time with WEMIX-listed exchanges to prevent any potential market disruptions. In response to the recent concerns raised by the community regarding the transfer of WEMIX that was withdrawn from a specific exchange in April, • The WEMIX team is committed to proactively preventing market disruptions caused by abnormal transactions associated with the aforementioned WEMIX withdrawals. • However, neither the WEMIX team nor the Foundation possesses a legal basis and responsibility for the direct recovery and handling of these assets. We once again urge the exchange from which the assets were originally withdrawn to handle the situation with utmost diligence. The WEMIX team is committed to maximizing efforts in safeguarding the assets of the WEMIX community and investors while ensuring market stability and preventing disruptions. Thank you.
