Foundation’s Measures on the Unusual Activity on Multichain Bridge

A large amount of assets worth approximately $125 million on the Multichain MPC address were moved to multiple wallets today, and the Multichain asset bridge was suspended.
The WEMIX team has safely withdrawn all WEMIX liquidity for the WEMIX Classic bridging on Multichain after the Multichain Bridge suspension. Furthermore, the WEMIX team is preparing to add additional bridge services crucial to expanding and increasing the interoperability of the WEMIX mega-ecosystem.

USDC is used as on-chain collateral to maintain the price stability of WEMIX$, and MLP2(Master Liquidity Pool) will be created and maintained through additional bridges and operated in conjunction with the existing MPL1 to enhance the stability of WEMIX$.
Irrespective of the circumstances, the Foundation provides an unequivocal assurance of a 100% guarantee on WEMIX$ collateral payments. As a result, the temporary suspension of the Multichain Bridge does not affect the state of the WEMIX ecosystem nor the operations of its platforms and services.
The WEMIX Team will continue to inform the community on the progress of our ongoing stabilization efforts and resolution of the unusual activity on Multichain Bridge.
