WEMIX Mass Burn To Deflationary Tokenomics WEMIX pursues Deflationary Tokenomics. Deflationary Tokenomics is based on a decrease in the amount of tokens issued as time goes by. However, if this is attempted solely by burning tokens, it then lacks the concept of growth and would potentially result in apportioning of the fixed value among the remaining tokens. In other words, a genuine Deflationary Tokenomics must revolve around a concept that synergizes the value of growth(inflation) and supply reduction(burn) by burn exceeding inflation, resulting in a healthy expansion overall which also directly impacts the value of the tokens through deflated token supply. In the early stages of growth, the amount of burned tokens in proportion to use cases and transaction volume are relatively low. Considering that the block reward(PMR) is constant during this stage, this results in an Inflationary Tokenomics. The reason for WEMIX pursuing Deflationary Tokenomics is not a temporary measure or a means to overcome the recent situation. Deflationary Tokenomics is not a short-term action but rather a long-term vision based on growth. WEMIX PLAY Swap/Pool Begins Currently 21 game tokens are being actively traded on WEMIX PLAY, making up healthy liquidity for the ecosystem. The main form of trading on WEMIX PLAY currently is through the order book, and the medium of exchange is pWEMIX(FKA WEMIX credit). There are two inconveniences when using the pWEMIX-based orderbook DEX available currently on WEMIX PLAY. First is associated with the price volatility of pWEMIX. If there is a price variance of pWEMIX, all previously listed game tokens must undergo revaluation and be relisted with new Buy/Sell order prices which reflects the correct trade value. Secondly, it is relatively more difficult to carry out transactions on an order book-based DEX. Transactions are not completed if a new sell order at a lower price is placed. Under such circumstances, one must remove the initial sell order and apply a lower price for token transaction to be executed. This mechanism also hinders buyers in the same way, and therefore, users are expected to manually monitor their BUY/SELL order prices to effectively transact tokens through the WEMIX PLAY order book DEX. In order to resolve such difficulties associated with token trading on WEMIX PLAY, the Swap/Pool service will be implemented. Each of the game tokens on WEMIX PLAY will form an individual swap pool paired with pWEMIX$, and users can immediately swap between the pairs according to the ratio of the asset pairs. Since pWEMIX$ is used as a medium of transaction, users and game tokens are unaffected by the price volatility of WEMIX, and pWEMIX$ which reflects market price in real-time enables more convenient transactions which leads to enhanced user experience. Furthermore, by participating as an LP(Liquidity Provider) depositing game tokens and pWEMIX$ into swap pools, participants are able to earn a 60% share of the 1.5% transaction fee which formulates to 0.9%. However, it is important to take into consideration that the ratio of initially deposited assets may change due to the nature of swap pools, and impermanent loss is a potential risk factor for all participants. In the case where a particular game’s tokenomics becomes unstable, there is a likelihood of one-way swap transactions to take place. In such a scenario, pWEMIX$ volume within that pair pool may be significantly reduced and result in a disproportionate state. To compensate for these situations, order book DEX on WEMIX PLAY will operate parallel to the WEMIX Play Swap. Liquid Staking Begins During Phase01, WEMIX3.0 allocates 10% of the minting rewards to WEMIX Stakers. The community stakes their WEMIX in Grand Staking to earn rewards. The principal and the rewards from Grand Staking during Phase01 cannot be withdrawn until Phase02. Grand Staking is attractive as it increases the value of WEMIX by reducing the circulating volume through a strong lock-up effect, but it is also true that it requires careful consideration due to limited liquidity. To resolve this issue, WEMIX.Fi has launched the Liquid Staking service. By staking WEMIX into Liquid Staking, instead of Grand Staking, stakers will receive liquid tokens called stWEMIX(Staked WEMIX). stWEMIX includes WEMIX rewards generated in Grand Staking(stWEMIX=staked WEMIX+Grand Staking reward*90%). In due course, the amount of WEMIX that can be exchanged with stWEMIX in Phase02 will increase. A new stWEMIX/WEMIX pair pool will be created through WEMIX.Fi where anyone can choose to swap assets using the pair pool. This also grants an opportunity for the community to yield profit by participating as an LP(Liquidity Provider) to the pair pool. In addition, through Lend/Borrow service which is expected to open in the near future, one can borrow WEMIX by collateralizing stWEMIX. Furthermore, even after the discontinuation of Grand Staking as a service in Phase02, participants can continue to earn rewards through Liquid Staking by delegating their assets to Nodes that engage in competitive staking. In exchange for improved fluidity of funds, Liquid Staking deducts 10% of reward profit as a fee. Alternatively, in Phase02 when GRAND Staking ends, one can continue to earn rewards through liquid staking by staking the asset to the NCP(Node Council Partner) which takes part in competitive staking.
